Changing Lives With Aloha

Easter Seals Hawaii (ESH) held a blessing and dedication ceremony on Friday, January 25, 2013, to celebrate the opening of its new Honolulu Adult Day Health facility in the Aloha United Way Building. The private event at 200 North Vineyard Boulevard, Suite 200-A was hosted by ESH’s President and CEO Christopher Blanchard. Special guests include; Deputy Managing Director Georgette Deemer and City Council member Breene Harimoto. Kahu Wendell Silva officiated the blessing ceremony. Lively hula and hip hop performances by the ESH adult participants concluded the program.

“Moving the Adult Day Health program to the 2,800 square foot facility in the Aloha United Way building more than triples our available space.” said President and CEO Christopher E. Blanchard. “This allows us to greatly expand our participant capacity, and it gives more families access to the exceptional services and programs we provide. We encourage families interested in our programs to inquire at any one of our twelve locations statewide.”

“I was very honored for the opportunity to perform the blessing for Easter Seals , ” says Kahu Silva pictured with CEO Christopher Blanchard and program manager  Megumi Nontani.
